The Glendale Chamber of Commerce continues its strong tradition of service and advocacy with the announcement of new leadership for its Military & Veterans Affairs Committee (MVAC) — an initiative that plays a vital role in strengthening ties between our business community and the men and women who serve at Luke Air Force Base.
We are proud to welcome Maria R. Brunner of Credit Union West as the committee’s new chair, alongside Isabel Booth of Dignity Health Arizona as co-chair. Both leaders bring exceptional experience, community insight and a deep commitment to supporting military families, veterans and defense-connected businesses throughout Glendale and beyond. Their combined leadership reflects the collaborative spirit that defines our region.
The committee serves as a bridge — connecting service members, veterans and their families with meaningful employment opportunities, business partnerships and community resources. With Maria and Isabel at the helm, the committee is poised to expand its impact, champion pro-military initiatives and ensure our local economy remains responsive to the needs of those who serve.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Edward C. Logan for a decade of dedicated service to the committee, including six remarkable years as co-chair and chair. His steadfast leadership, integrity, and passion for advocacy have left an enduring mark on both the chamber and our military community. His legacy will continue to guide the committee’s mission.
