PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE
The Glendale Chamber provides unique opportunities for business leaders to influence civic, social, and business initiatives that support community growth. Public policy is the process by which a government sustains order and addresses the needs of citizens. Laws, mandates, and regulations are established through this political action. The important decisions made impact the lives of all citizens. As the voice of the business community, the Chamber offers leadership on issues that transform our community.

A MESSAGE FROM ONE OF OUR PUBLIC POLICY COUNCIL MEMBERS
Serving on the Glendale Chamber’s Public Policy Committee is beneficial to me and Salt River Project for several reasons. First, as the West Valley Government Relations Representative for SRP the committee helps me be more effective in my job. It gives me an awareness of what not only the city’s legislative and business objectives are, but those in the business community.
I can then pass that information on internally, whether it’s to our executive management, regular employees or colleagues in similar industries so we can make better informed decisions on whether to support candidates running for office or campaign initiatives that might affect how we do business in Glendale.
