Nominations are welcome for the inaugural Glendale Chamber Thunderbird Awards, a celebration recognizing businesses, leaders, educators, nonprofits, and community champions.

Join the party at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Glendale Civic Center for an evening featuring a cocktail reception, plated dinner, award presentations, and guest emcee Josh Carmona (“Crisco Kidd”).

The Glendale Chamber Thunderbird Awards draw inspiration from historic Thunderbird Field, which helped pave the road to modern Glendale. Established during World War II as a pilot training base, it brought new people and new opportunities to the community, ushering in decades of growth that transformed Glendale.
