A public safety appreciation event, dedicated to express gratitude for those who serve and protect Glendale, is coming to the West Valley.

The Glendale Chamber and Glendale Councilmember Lauren Tolmachoff, along with presenting sponsor Amazon, will host public safety personnel from the Glendale fire and police departments. The event will go from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 at Babbo's Italian Eatery, 20211 N. 67th Ave.

The first responders will be treated to lunch in recognition of their contributions to the community.

"We believe it's essential to show our appreciation for the individuals who put their lives on the line daily to keep us safe," Robert Heidt, Glendale Chamber president and CEO, shared in a press release.

Call the Glendale Chamber at 623-937-4754 for more information about the event.

“Glendale’s first responders selflessly protect and serve our community every day of the year,” Tolmachoff stated.
