AMBASSADOR COMMITTEE

Becoming a member of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce was the best decision I have ever made. Then I joined the Ambassador Committee. Wow, not only do I get to call up new members and welcome them, I also get to see them face to face at many of the Chamber events. I appreciate all the benefits the chamber offers and I am so happy to share them with the new members. It is wonderful to be part of a growing organization that supports small business. Having a small Glendale business myself, I can help new members coming in by being an Ambassador.

Coming from California Chambers were not where I would invest my networking dollars. When I got to AZ and started to understand the lay of the land, I started looking around for networking opportunities so I could grow my business here in AZ. Well I ran into Harry at an event with the Phoenix Business Journal and he invited me to a networking event the chamber was putting on the following week. I went and felt this might be something to consider so asked if I could attend the BAH event later that month so I could get a better feel for the group and he said of course. After attending both events I was sold, and I still am today. After getting my feet wet, meeting incredible business people and making some awesome friends I decided it was time to give back so I joined the Ambassador team so I could give back a little of what they have given me over the last 4 years. This is an awesome Chamber that I highly recommend.

A Creative Solution

Making connections with people is one of the more enjoyable things that I do, for my job and for myself.

The Glendale Chamber of Commerce has helped me to expand the number of connections exponentially, which I love.

The Chamber helped me grow personally and professionally.  I have become more outgoing and confident. The “30 second business commercials” we do at Business over Breakfast and other networking events has helped me feel more comfortable talking about my business and explaining how I can help people with their real estate needs.  The networking opportunities and member benefits are helping me advertise and educate people about the real estate process and market.

My business has grown and know I can count on those members as clients and as my friends. The Chamber has given me the opportunity to meet all kinds of people and businesses that otherwise I would not have met. Thanks to their leadership, I stay informed on events and the political or economic decisions at city or state level that affect my community. 

I have been a member for over five years and I would like to encourage all businesspeople and non-profits to join the Chamber and experience the best Chamber in the Valley.
